Alex and Katie are Married! – Wedding Photos from Chapel Dulcinea and Jovitas

Alex and Katie were married at Chapel Dulcinea in South Austin this past Friday. The sentence is easy to type but their story is more interesting than that. Alex is in the Air Cavalry somewhere in Afghanistan. He was here for two weeks, now he is heading back out doing his duty for our country. Sometime this summer, Katie will get the chance to be carried over the threshold at a base in Germany.

I felt honored and privileged for the chance to share a small part in the day that witnessed their expression of love and commitment to each other. Be glad that people like Alex and Katie are around you, for you will feel love and warmth when Katie calls you by your full name, and you will feel pride when Alex looks you in the eye and gives thanks.
