Dana’s Bridal Portraits: @TerrAdorna

Silk Emergence

What a blast of a bridal session we finished up a mere 24 hours ago! Found a cool new artist run wedding and event venue at TerrAdorna, and sympathizer to strangely spelled and capitalized business names. The owners were gracious hosts to my photographic whimsies. Our bride looks like a more curvaceous Kiera Knightly and we had a good mix of interior Art Deco’ness mixed with wildflowers and a sunset. The set as a whole was very nice and I think these examples do the whole session justice.

Vogue Bride

Birdcage Bride

Setting Sun on a Natural Bride

Black eyed Susan and Fair Haired Dana

Thanks again to the West Family for opening their doors at TerrAdorna for us, make sure and check them out.

EDIT:
I wanted to add that the Hair and Makeup by Erica Gray were awesome. We were in hot muggy conditions and then inside in a cool air conditioning and then back into the still of the hill country evening and the hair and makeup kept up with the environment and my softboxes blasting into Dana’s pores. As the photos can attest, she looks great. I have not photoshopped the skin in these at all. That should say something.

And the necklake seen in a few shots was provided by Kerrin Falk of FALK Jewelry Designs, lovely work Kerrin.

My favorite is birdcage bride – it’s the only one she’s smiling in and it’s beautifully artistic and she looks so ethereal… So lovely!

    MrsJay,
Yeah, the birdcage series produced a lot of winners

I love the land and am partial to the way you captured it in Setting Sun on a Natural Bride. I love the field depths and you captured a great image of the sun.

Gotta go with Birdcage. Dana is beautiful!
