What I Do?
I create images. I create images for satsified clients in the Austin/Central Texas region. More importantly, I bring a studio to you. For many people, traveling to a studio is not feasible. What needs to be photographed, and what is important to photograph are often
found at clients homes, workplaces, or meaningful locales.
For instance, a family may not want to gather up the kids and haul them to a studio during the busy holiday times of the year. I bring the studio to the family. Same Look with more personalized service, all in the comfort of your own home. Worried about which
clothes to wear? Taking photos in your own home allows your whole wardrobe to be at your fingertips. Imagine your stress levels at the mall on a Saturday in December. Now imagine yourself on the beach. AzulOx Photography will make picture taking
seem like a vacation. (actual vacations not included :)
What Happens before the Photos are taken?
I suppose you could say this is the thought process time. A conversation takes place about when and where you would like to take pictures. The conversation will range to what type of look you will want to your photos, delivery method. I like to collaborate with clients and get as much feedback early on as possible. Then, I plan my shot list. A list of a few ideasI want to execute while on the scene. We discuss what will happen before it happens. And then the big question.
"What should I wear?"
A typical response from me - "Don't look like you are going to a square dance"
In other words, matching shirts precisely is a little hokey. Yes, you should be in the same color range. Yes, solids work well. No, you may not turn your partner dosey-do.
After all the details are set. I arrive on scene, you arrive on scene, and Action!

Photography is not a job, taking pictures is fun.
My mentality is that I will do what ever it takes to get the shot that you will enjoy for years to come. I have stomped through mud, scaled ladders, rolled around in horse "dirt", gotten up at 4 in the morning all to be in the position to make you look wonderful.
And if my work ethic doesn't make you smile, my corny jokes will.

What Happens after the Photos are taken?
After the photos are taken, AzulOx Photography lovingly takes your images through a little journey we like to call post-processing. Some call it the digital darkroom. This is where we develop your photos in the 21st Century. We correct the White Balance, tweak black levels, add color, remove color, and generally scrub and shine the images to look their very best.
Once the images are polished to AzulOx Standards, we upload your images to the World Wide Web in a password protected gallery that you can share with your friends and family, except for Uncle Joe, we never let Uncle Joe have the password. He does not share well. Your loved ones around the world can see the images.
From this online gallery you will be ordering your prints and products. At the AzulOx Workshop we have many choices for your imaging needs.
