Kaitlyn Senior Portraits: Austin, Texas

Texas 4000 Rider Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is about to embark on an amazing journey. Yes, she just graduated from the University of Texas and there is that whole scene in her life about to play out. This journey is very specific though. She is riding her bike to Alaska. 4000 miles-ish. You see, Kaitlyn is part of the UT Texas 4000 team and she is one of many riders raising money for cancer research. You can visit her profile page here to hear her speak about why this is so important. We feel very lucky in the part we get to play by taking photograph’s to commemorate the beginning of her specific and general journey’s that are launching soon.

We also grabbed a few frames in front of the UT Tower in her cap and gown. That’s a big smile and a big hook’em, we love it!

The other part of her disembarkment

Kaitlyn and I also did a little fashiony South Congress stroll taking in the light and the sights and sounds of South Austin. Always fun to chase light and new angles on street corners overbrimming with photographers.

About 10 minutes of awesome light through this apartment building

Kaitlyn wanted to show off her country side as well and we found the complementary background with a doorway into the Hotel San Jose.

Country Strong

Thanks again to Kaitlyn for taking on such a bold project as riding your bike to Alaska, we wish you all the best!
