Stand Up Paddling – Stock Shoot

Continuing our trend of photographing people in the fitness world, Geoff and I headed out to Red Bud Isle for Stand Up Paddle (SUP) paddling session with Mitch and Marisa.

Marisa and Mitch have both worked with us before, Mitch underwater and Marisa way in the air, so we knew their styles and personalities. The shoot was light and airy even if Geoff and I packed our gear the 1/2 mile from the parking lot to the tip of Red Bud. We joked that we should have just brought a 50 prime and a couple of cards. Instead we packed out softboxes, beauty dishes, 22 pound studio light batteries, studio lights and other accessories.

Mitch had us laughing (and in awe) by the quickness in which he could get into a headstand. Marisa wanted to give it a go seeing how easy it looked….
